Astbury Mere Country Park to Lambert Lane & along the Macclesfield Canal & across fields to Astbury Village. . We travelled by car to the Heath Farm pub on Padgbury Lane for a " value for money " lunch which was "washed down" with drinks of choice incuding pints of Timothy Taylor "Landlord"

Occasional jet roar from nearby Manchester Airport before leaving the Bollin by the Airport Inn, then across open fields & past Quarry Bank Mill to the Ship in the village centre.
