Blue Cap to Cockpit Lane and Kennel Lane to the Whitegate Way. The walk left the Whitegate Way at Newchurch common and then went through Sherratts Rough and alongside Petty Pool to return to the Blue Cap. |

Starting from the Leather’s Smithy pub in Langley we walked along the Ridgegate & Trentabank reservoir before climbing through the forest via Toot hill to the Forest Chapel, a further climb northwards before bearing right to descend through the forest. |

From the Plough via paths to St Mary’s Church & Foxwist and Cinder Hill. Leave the village through Church Wood & onto Monks Well Wood. Then to Rookery Wood, following the old course of the River Weaver before entering the golf course. From there pass between prestigious dwellings into Mill Road. Return to Foxwist via paths and stiles and then onward back to the Plough for lunch. |
